Out on patrol

Sgt Brown has taken a number of foot patrols, along with officers from your local policing team earlier in the evening shift.

It was an absolute pleasure to have some engagement with young people whilst patrolling the area of Church Road Recreation ground onto Jail Lane and surrounding areas. 

We were asked “how is your day?” how pleasant! 

Saw some amazing art work by a GCSE art student.

Had a selfie request and spoke with others about their desires for when they complete their education. Inspiring to know that at a young age, there are future electricians in the making.

Our aim is to increase engagement with our younger community, be more visible, approachable and build relationships that can improve communication between generations.
